Madame Illuminata Crack's Pictorial Guide to the Universe

Ten images for the work were sourced from tarot cards, then painted by the Galicia family, billboard artists in the Philippines and worked on in Hanoi, where I commissioned silk-on-silk embroidered panels to accompany each of the painted panels. Each of the diptychs referred to one aspect of the process of colonial domination with its title drawn from postmodern terminology.
